What do I need?

There are some basic requirements to consider before you can think about getting broadband

A BT telephone line installed in your premises. Your computer will need to have a USB port at the rear in order to connect the modem. Some older computers that do not have USB ports can have them fitted. If you require a networked broadband system (To enable more than one computer to share the broadband connection), a computer(s) with networking capabilities will be required to connect to the router. Again, if your computer(s) doesn't have a network port, they can be fitted for an extra charge. Alternatively, you could opt for a wireless system.
